The Escofet Rural drinking fountain brings the spirit of a natural spring to parks, plazas and recreational trails. Its carved bowl and calm geometry add a timeless accent that fits both urban and rural settings, supporting refreshment and wayfinding in the public realm.
Rural is a monobloc in reinforced concrete with natural stone aggregates with integrated channels and drain. The exterior is bush‑hammered and water‑repellent; the bowl is acid‑etched for a natural look. The gooseneck spout in stainless steel AISI 316L and the timed push‑button are designed for intensive public use.
Dimensions are 88 × 74 × 121 cm (136 cm to top of spout) with a mass of 820 kg, ensuring stability and safety. Colour options from the Escofet palette include grey, white, red and beige to coordinate with surrounding materials.
Thanks to low‑maintenance concrete and robust stainless‑steel components, Rural maintains its appearance in all weather. It acts as a public water point and a clear landmark that enhances the usability of paths and gathering areas.
Embed the fountain on a strip footing of 65 × 65 × 45 cm. Set the top approx. 15 cm below paving level. Provide recesses in the underlying footing for the water supply and the water drainage. Install an underground box with shut‑off valve and filter plus a second box or siphon drainage for discharge. Use appropriate lifting gear for positioning due to the weight.
