Successful installation of the Hydra S requires a stable, level foundation. Concrete preparations must include cutouts for the water inlet and outlet. We recommend adding a maintenance hatch nearby to house key elements like a flow meter, drain valve and shut-off valve. This ensures serviceability without compromising the space’s aesthetics.
Once the base is ready, the Hydra S is anchored following the manufacturer's specifications. Proper alignment is crucial to allow intuitive access for every user – pedestrians, wheelchair users, and pet owners alike. After connecting to the water supply and testing the flow, the fountain is ready to serve as a sustainable and welcoming water source in your public space.
