Design street furniture for public spaces

A high-quality and sustainable public space,
that is what we are striving for, together with you.

Why put your trust in Servibo?

Servibo was founded by Guido Goossens in 1977  as a supplier of ornamental paving. Over the years, Servibo has increasingly profiled itself as a supplier of street furniture and even distributor of design street furniture.

Servibo was the first to introduce designer street furniture to the Belgian market. Today, cities such as Ostend, Brussels, Ghent and many others rely on the benches and other forms of street furniture that Servibo has to offer.

The modern, elongated, double seating bench at Keith Haringplein in Knokke, focusing closely on the wooden beams. The seating is composed of two solid, rectangular wooden elements positioned one above the other, resting on a subtle metal base. The scene is framed by the street paving in the foreground and a row of parked cars and recent apartment buildings in the background. The composition emphasizes the clean lines and the robust, durable appearance of the street furniture.

Projects

Street furniture comes in all shapes and colours not to mention the different types of material that can be used. Not every project is the same and the requirements and criteria are often different. A bench or litter bin has not only its functionality but also its design and integration in the public space to be considered.

By showing our elements in different realisations, we especially want to give a better insight into the different possibilities and environments that these elements can offer or have offered added value in different projects at home and abroad. Take a look with us at the various realisations and in which environments our street furniture has been able to contribute over the years.

A sunny, expansive shot of Gandhipark in Bruges, where innovative design meets public recreation. Three beige, organically shaped Boomerang seating elements are scattered across a path made of light grey cobblestones, surrounded by fresh green lawn. The unconventional, multifunctional elements provide informal seating and accentuate the aesthetics of the public space. A sports and play area is visible in the background with a red rubber surface and metal fitness equipment, characterizing the space as a dynamic and sustainable meeting place.

A modern, elongated, double seating element constructed from two robust wooden beams mounted at different heights, creating a seemingly floating effect thanks to the concealed metal understructure. The bench is situated in the Keith Haringplein in Knokke, resting on traditional street paving bricks. Modern residential architecture, several parked cars, and young trees are visible in the background, highlighting the integration of the minimalist, innovative design into an urban residential area.

A classic-looking, durable bench with a backrest from the NeoRomántico Clásico series by Urbidermis, situated in a lush, park-like setting in Janseniuspark, Leuven. The bench, featuring natural-coloured tropical hardwood slats, contrasts with the elegant light-grey metal supports. It is placed along a small gravel path, adjacent to a stone wall and a waterway, seamlessly blending into the historical and green context of the park.

A collage-style visual showcasing the modular Garonne elements by Escofet within a modern, public outdoor space. The elements are executed in white/light grey concrete and serve dual purposes as both seating benches and planters, interspersed with low greenery and trees. The images, presented in circular and oval crops, emphasize the flexible application of the modular pieces on a clean, light-coloured plaza, illustrating how they create functional zones in the urban environment..
