Transport and Handling
The Prat Mesa Ajedrez, weighing 290 kg, requires careful handling during transport. Polyester lifting straps or a forklift are recommended to move the table safely. To avoid damage, the table should be supported with wooden blocks during transport.
Placement and Anchoring
The table can be installed as a freestanding unit or securely anchored to the ground. Use four M16 x 140 mm screws and drill Ø20 mm holes into the ground. Fill the holes with resin or grease-rich mortar to ensure stable placement.
Maintenance and Durability
Thanks to its water-repellent surface, the table is easy to clean. Use water and a mild detergent to remove dirt and stains. The chessboard and concrete maintain their quality under heavy use and varying weather conditions.
