NeoRomántico Clásico Chair – Iconic Seating for Urban Spaces
The NeoRomántico Clásico Chair blends elegance with durability, designed to seamlessly integrate into public and urban environments. Originally created by Miguel Milá in 1995, this timeless design embodies the classic aesthetics of urban furniture. The chair features a robust AG3 cast aluminum frame with an anodized finish, combined with a seat and backrest made of 100% FSC-certified tropical hardwood.
High-Quality Materials for Long-Lasting Performance
The frame is crafted from AG3 aluminum, a corrosion-resistant and lightweight material that withstands heavy use and extreme weather conditions. The seat and backrest are made from tropical hardwood (Erythrophleum ivorense), a dense wood species (900-930 kg/m³) with exceptional resistance to moisture, fungi, and insects. This makes the chair ideal for prolonged outdoor use without compromising its aesthetic appeal.
Ergonomic Design for Urban Versatility
The NeoRomántico Clásico Chair is designed for comfort and practicality. Its contoured backrest provides excellent support, while the carefully rounded seat enhances sitting comfort. The timeless design allows it to blend seamlessly into both historical and contemporary urban landscapes, including parks, plazas, and promenades.
Low Maintenance and Sustainable Materials
Thanks to the natural durability of tropical hardwood and its high-quality finish, this chair requires no structural maintenance. The single-layer oil coating helps retain the original wood color, but over time, exposure to sun and rain will naturally develop a refined silver-gray patina. This aging process does not affect structural integrity and enhances the chair’s authentic appearance.
