Bicycle parking as part of the design
Cyclists need a clearly recognisable anchor point. On squares, in school environments and at the entrances to public buildings, a well-positioned bicycle rack in public space signals that bicycle parking is part of the design, not an afterthought. The Ciclo marks that parking area with an arc form that orients the visitor: clearly legible as a parking point, without interrupting the free flow of pedestrians.
Steel with a protective Enamel Forge finish
Steel in outdoor environments requires a finish that withstands rain, salts and UV radiation over a long service life. The Ciclo is manufactured from steel with an Enamel Forge treatment in the standard colour Q808. The matt surface texture complements hard exterior materials such as concrete, corten steel and natural stone, and retains its appearance under intensive use and varying weather conditions.
One arc, one bicycle, freely arranged
Each module is a self-contained arc for one bicycle. This modular bicycle parking system gives designers and contractors the freedom to adapt the arrangement to the available space: modules side by side in a straight line form a clearly structured parking run, freely grouped modules can softly demarcate a stay zone. Both configurations use the same racks. An optional visible flange provides additional installation flexibility when drilling into the foundation is not desirable.
The parking area as gateway
The quality of a bicycle parking point tells visitors something about the space they are entering. A design bicycle rack like the Ciclo fits into a layout that thinks further about dwell time: a waste bin within walking distance, seating at the entrance, planting that gives the outdoor space a human scale.
