The combination of a long concrete bench and a short backrest within Escofet’s So-Ffa system brings gentle movement to public outdoor spaces. This configuration balances openness and comfort: the length invites rest and interaction, while the shorter backrest creates a focal point without blocking the view. Ideal for linear settings along promenades, paths and parks.
Made from reinforced sustainable concrete with an etched, water-repellent surface, the bench plays with light and geometry. The alternating seat and backrest planes create a refined play of light and shadow that enhances its rhythm and spatial character. The natural hues — from light grey to beige or black — ensure seamless integration into urban or landscaped environments.
This free-standing seating solution blends simplicity and design. The short backrest offers comfort without overstatement. Cities and communities use this model to define subtle resting points within dynamic areas — from public meeting spaces to pathways and plazas requiring visual variety.
The long bench with short backrest expresses balance through contrast. It brings structure without rigidity and comfort without dominance — a discreet, rhythmic presence in concrete.
This So-Ffa version invites a brief pause — where form, balance and silence meet.

Completely free-standing, it requires no anchoring. Place on a stable, level surface. With a combined weight of around 2,100 kg, stability is ensured even in active urban zones.
Use the integrated lifting points visible after installation. Lift with polyester slings following Escofet’s guidelines and position carefully. No additional assembly is required — simplicity defines both form and function.
