The Satellite by Escofet is designed as a versatile and inviting element that integrates seamlessly into various public spaces such as parks, squares, and school grounds. With its contemporary shape and rounded lines, the Satellite serves both as a comfortable lounger for individual use and as a shared seating platform, encouraging spontaneous interactions among users. The Satellite aligns perfectly with Servibo’s vision of creating sustainable, inclusive, and social outdoor spaces that enhance the quality of life.
Made from ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), the Satellite offers unparalleled durability and robustness. This material is resistant to heavy use and all weather conditions, making it ideal for both urban and natural environments. The Satellite is finished with a water-repellent and etched protective layer that guards against dirt and wear, minimizing maintenance. Customers can choose from various colors according to Escofet’s standard color chart, allowing additional flexibility in space design.
The ergonomic, rounded design of the Satellite creates an enveloping seating experience that invites relaxation and social interaction. Not only is this furniture piece functional, but it also enhances the landscape visually. The rounded shape, free of sharp edges, makes it safe and accessible for all users, including children, fostering a sense of security and peace.
The Satellite is designed with a low center of gravity, providing stability without the need for anchoring. This makes placement easy and flexible, allowing the Satellite to remain stable in its position. Optionally, the seat can be anchored with screws for added security in busy areas. The integrated slots in the base enable the Satellite to be easily hoisted and relocated, making it ideal for municipalities seeking adaptable outdoor furniture.

For placement and manipulation, the Satellite must be handled safely using polyester slings, which can be threaded through the integrated slots at the base. Ensure that the slings, along with all other handling materials, are rated for the 910 kg weight and meet the required safety margin. This prevents damage to both the product and the ground surface, ensuring controlled transport and secure positioning.
For installation at a permanent location without anchoring, simply place the Satellite on a stable, flat surface. For optional anchoring, drill holes with a diameter of 40 mm and a depth of 180 mm in the ground. Fill these holes with an appropriate resin or mortar, then securely fasten the M16 x 140 mm bolts. Carefully position the Satellite in the center of the drilled holes, and seal around the base for a neat and stable finish.
