The Lena Cerrada Planter is a robust and elegant planter with a closed base, ideal for greening urban spaces where direct soil contact is not possible. With a generous diameter of 235 cm and a capacity of 2000 liters, this concrete planter provides ample space for trees and vegetation while maintaining a controlled growing environment that protects surrounding infrastructure.
Made from high-quality reinforced concrete and strengthened with stainless steel for maximum stability, the Lena Cerrada features deep grooves on its surface, creating a unique interplay of light and shadow. Available in various standard colors such as grey, white, beige, and red, it seamlessly integrates into different urban designs.
Unlike the Lena Abierta, the Lena Cerrada features a closed base, making it perfect for locations where soil permeability is not desired, such as rooftops, plazas, and parking decks. This design allows for a controlled substrate and irrigation system, promoting optimal plant growth while preventing uncontrolled root expansion.
The Lena Cerrada is self-stabilizing and requires no anchoring. Its substantial weight of 1042 kg ensures a secure and stable position, even in high-traffic areas. The waterproofed concrete finish helps retain the substrate and minimizes water loss, resulting in more efficient irrigation.

The Lena Cerrada Planter is designed for direct placement on pavement, rooftops, or other solid surfaces. Thanks to its self-stabilizing design, no anchoring or foundation is required, making installation straightforward and flexible.
Due to its weight of 1042 kg, it is recommended to move the planter using a crane and three polyester slings. This ensures a safe and controlled placement in the desired location. The planter can be positioned in two ways: with the wider side up or down, depending on aesthetic preferences.
For optimal drainage and plant health, it is recommended to add a layer of drainage material such as gravel or porous concrete at the base. This prevents water stagnation and ensures even moisture distribution, creating a stable growing environment for plants.
