When fitting out new squares or temporary event spaces, designers face a practical problem: installing bicycle racks without damaging the paving or requiring a licensed foundation. The Larus Lock solves this with a free-standing concrete element with an integrated steel bracket. No anchors, no drilling. Simply place.
The body of the Lock is cast in recycled concrete. This is structural concrete made with recycled aggregates, a sustainable choice that gives the base its weight and stability without extra anchoring. The grey colour blends with the neutral tones of paving and public space.
The bracket is in stainless steel AISI 304 or 316, depending on the environment. AISI 316 is the marine-grade variant for coastal locations or places with high humidity. Bicycles are secured via the frame or wheel with a chain or padlock.
The Lock suits events, seasonal installations or locations where the final layout is not yet decided. It can also be used permanently where drilling is not permitted or where the manager wants to keep the flexibility to adjust the arrangement later.
