The Fontana Lid Bin combines sleek aesthetics with added functionality thanks to its integrated lid. Ideal for public spaces such as plazas, shopping streets, and transport hubs, it offers a clean and organized appearance. Designed by Antoni Arola, this litter bin features a timeless and understated design that seamlessly blends into any urban setting.
The bin’s body is made from cast aluminium with a protective coating, while its internal structure consists of AISI 304 stainless steel with a sandblasted finish. The inner tray is crafted from fibreglass reinforced with polyester, ensuring excellent resistance to moisture and wear.
With a 42-litre capacity and a secure lid, the Fontana Lid Bin prevents rainwater from entering, helping to maintain cleaner waste collection and reducing excess moisture and contamination.
Available in light grey, polished aluminium, and black, the Fontana Lid Bin complements both contemporary and traditional cityscapes. Special coatings for coastal areas are available upon request.
The Fontana Bin is delivered fully assembled and ready for installation. It comes with all necessary mounting materials and a clear assembly guide.
For a secure placement, the bin is anchored using eight expansion plugs (9 cm deep into the ground). Installation requires drilling holes with a diameter of Ø20x105 mm, suitable for concrete or paved surfaces.
Thanks to its high-quality materials, the Fontana Bin requires no functional maintenance. To preserve its appearance, it should be cleaned regularly using pH-neutral, alcohol-free, and non-abrasive cleaning products.
