The Comunitario 400 Respaldo is a bench with a backrest, designed by Diana Cabeza in 2002. This stylish and versatile bench provides exceptional comfort and ample space, making it ideal for urban and semi-public spaces such as plazas, parks, and boulevards.
The bench is constructed with a robust galvanized steel frame coated with durable black Oxiron paint. The seat and backrest are made of 100% FSC-certified solid Iroko wood, treated with protective oil to ensure weather resistance while maintaining a natural appearance.
Measuring 400 cm in length and weighing 543 kg, the Comunitario 400 Respaldo offers the perfect balance of stability and seating comfort. Its ergonomically designed backrest supports a relaxed posture, making it ideal for extended use.
Thanks to its high-quality materials, the Comunitario 400 Respaldo requires minimal maintenance. The Iroko wood naturally weathers to a silver-gray patina. For those wishing to retain its original color, periodic application of protective oil suffices.
The Comunitario 400 Respaldo is delivered in three parts: the steel frame, the wooden seat, and the backrest. All necessary mounting hardware and clear instructions are included, ensuring a quick and easy installation.
Thanks to its weight, the bench can be placed securely without anchoring. For additional stability, anchoring points are provided, making it suitable for installation on various surfaces, including concrete, gravel, and grass.
The Oxiron-coated steel frame and UV- and moisture-resistant wood ensure the bench retains its functionality and aesthetic appeal, even in demanding environments and extreme weather conditions.
