The Comunitario 300 Respaldo is a bench with a backrest, designed by Diana Cabeza in 2002. This versatile and timeless design offers superior comfort combined with durability, making it ideal for urban and semi-public spaces such as parks, plazas, and promenades.
The bench features a robust galvanized steel frame with a black Oxiron coating and seat and backrest made of 100% FSC-certified solid Iroko wood. The wooden components are treated with protective oil to ensure resistance to weather and maintain their natural aesthetic.
Measuring 300 cm in length and weighing 432 kg, the Comunitario 300 Respaldo provides both stability and comfort. Its ergonomic backrest design supports a relaxed seating posture, making it ideal for longer stays in public spaces.
Thanks to its durable materials, the Comunitario 300 Respaldo requires minimal maintenance. The wood naturally ages to an elegant silver-gray patina. For those wishing to preserve its original color, occasional application of protective oil suffices.
The Comunitario 300 Respaldo is delivered in three parts: the steel frame base, the wooden seat, and the backrest. All necessary mounting hardware and clear assembly instructions are included, ensuring a quick installation process.
While heavy enough for stable placement without anchoring, the bench is equipped with anchoring points for added security. This allows installation on various surfaces, including concrete, gravel, and grass.
The steel frame is protected against corrosion with an Oxiron coating, and the Iroko wood resists UV rays and moisture. This ensures the bench maintains its appearance and functionality, even in demanding environments with frequent use.
