The Comunitario 400 is a backless bench designed by Diana Cabeza in 2002. With its extended length of 400 cm, this bench provides ample space and versatility, making it ideal for urban and semi-public spaces such as parks, promenades, and plazas.
The robust galvanized steel frame is coated with durable black Oxiron paint. The seat is made of 100% FSC-certified solid Iroko wood, treated with protective oil to maintain its natural appearance and weather resistance.
Weighing 443 kg, the Comunitario 400 offers outstanding stability without requiring anchoring. However, anchoring points are available for added security, making the bench suitable for both temporary and permanent installations.
Thanks to its weather-resistant materials, the Comunitario 400 requires minimal maintenance. The Iroko wood naturally ages to an elegant silver-gray patina. For those wishing to retain its original color, periodic oil treatment is sufficient.
The Comunitario 400 is delivered in two parts: the steel frame and the wooden seat. Included assembly instructions and mounting hardware ensure a quick and easy installation process.
The bench can be placed securely without anchoring due to its weight and sturdy construction. For situations requiring additional security, anchoring points are available. This makes the Comunitario 400 suitable for various surfaces, including concrete, grass, or gravel.
The steel structure features a corrosion-resistant Oxiron coating, while the wooden seat resists UV rays and moisture. These qualities ensure long-lasting performance and minimal maintenance, even under heavy use.
