The So-Ffa FFA-1 is part of Escofet’s adaptable So-Ffa system, where simplicity and strength unite in sustainable urban furniture. This long concrete bench without backrest defines a quiet line within public outdoor spaces, offering a place to rest, wait, or meet. Its length introduces rhythm and orientation to squares, parks and pedestrian routes.
Crafted from reinforced water-repellent concrete with an etched finish, the FFA-1 combines craftsmanship and resilience. Its planes create a dynamic play of light and shadow, enhancing the sense of calm solidity. Available in natural tones of grey, black, white, red or beige, it adapts easily to both contemporary and green contexts, requiring little maintenance and offering a lifetime of use.
The FFA-1 can serve as a standalone free-standing seating element or be combined with So backrests. This flexibility enables cities and communities to shape outdoor environments that are accessible and welcoming, creating public meeting spaces that foster inclusion and interaction.
The strength of the FFA-1 lies in its restraint. It does not dominate its surroundings; it enhances them. In combination with other So-Ffa modules, it forms a sequence of calm points that balance movement and rest.
The So-Ffa FFA-1 is more than a bench — it is a line of rest in concrete, where simplicity, durability and social connection meet.

The FFA-1 is completely free-standing and requires no anchoring. Place on a stable, level pavement. Weighing approximately 1,229 kg, it ensures stability even in high-traffic areas.
Use the integrated lifting points visible after installation. Lift using polyester slings as per Escofet’s guidelines and position carefully. No additional assembly is required — simplicity defines both the design and installation.
