The Roc bins, designed by Gerard Arqué in 2014, exemplify elegance and functionality. Made from UHPC Slimconcrete, an ultra-strong and durable concrete material, these bins are ideal for heavily frequented public spaces such as squares, parks, and pedestrian areas. Their rounded shape and grooved texture add a refined and modern look, perfectly suited to contemporary urban architecture.
The Roc bins are specifically designed to meet the demands of intensive urban environments. The robust material provides exceptional resistance to vandalism and harsh weather conditions. Moreover, the bins require minimal upkeep thanks to their low-maintenance finish, including a water- and dirt-repellent coating, making them ideal for long-term use.
With a generous capacity of 70 liters and a practical stainless-steel ring system to easily secure garbage bags, the Roc bins offer user-friendliness and efficiency. For added hygiene and a clean appearance, an optional stainless-steel lid is available. This lid prevents access to large objects and ensures controlled waste collection.
The Roc bins are firmly anchored using concealed fixing systems. Thanks to a cleverly designed installation process, including screw mounting or anchoring with mortar, they remain securely in place even in busy public spaces. This not only enhances functionality but also ensures seamless integration into their surroundings.

The installation of Roc bins is designed to ensure a strong and durable anchor. The bin is secured with three M12 x 140 mm screws, which are fastened into Ø25 mm holes pre-drilled in the pavement. The use of epoxy resin or rich mortar provides a safe and lasting installation.
Weighing up to 123 kg, Roc bins require mechanical assistance during installation. Polyester slings or suitable lifting equipment should be used to safely hoist and position the bins, ensuring proper installation without damage or injury.
The fastening components come with a rust-proof protective coating, ensuring long-lasting durability even in challenging environments. Thanks to the secure anchoring, the bins remain stable and resistant to vandalism and extreme weather.
Whether in an urban square, park, or busy pedestrian area, the Roc bin seamlessly integrates thanks to its flexible installation options. Its minimalist design and robust construction make it suitable for any outdoor setting, regardless of usage intensity.
