The Panot Gaudí is a hexagonal concrete tile that embodies the creative genius of Antoni Gaudí. This iconic design brings together two of his key concepts: geometry and symbolism. Inspired by the forms and structures found in nature, its hexagonal profile evokes honeycombs, turtle shells, or even crocodile skin. The embossed patterns of starfish, snails, and seaweed capture the dynamic movement of the sea, reflecting Gaudí’s belief that «nature has always been my master».
This tile design, originally created between 1904 and 1906, remains an essential element of Barcelona’s urban landscape. The material is also water-repellent and frost-resistant, ensuring low maintenance and long-term durability.
Available in a wide range of natural shades, this paving tile integrates seamlessly into various urban and architectural environments. With dimensions of 28.8 x 25 x 4.5 cm and a weight of 5.56 kg per unit, the Panot Gaudí is easy to install on a mortar bed with a minimum strength of 100 kg/m².
