The Design bench Modular Recto 175 is the compact building block in the Escofet Modular family. Its straight profile creates calm seating ribbons that guide wayfinding and provide places to pause on squares, campuses and boulevards. A single unit marks a rest point; repetition structures the space.
Pair the Modular Recto 175 with concave or convex modules and 90° corners to form smooth curves, turns and edges. The design bench fits around trees and planting beds, or defines green islands that support de-paving and greening strategies.
The ergonomic seat-back profile supports comfortable use for many audiences. Where needed, configurations can be complemented with backrests or armrests to match the requirements of the place and its users.
Used alone, the Modular Recto 175 reads as a clear, minimal element; in sequence it grows into a coherent seating landscape that guides movement and frames green perimeters—bringing mobility, stay and climate-ready design together.

Cast concrete with natural stone aggregates - finish : acid-etched and waterproofed
Prepare a level, firm base in paving or compacted aggregate. Its own weight enables stable free-standing placement and flexible reconfiguration. In parks, joints can be finished for a continuous visual line.
Lift the unit into position with suitable slings and align carefully with adjacent modules. Ensure tight joints so the intended straight run, curve or corner is clearly expressed; then finish paving and planting neatly up to the edge.
