The Esfera P with a closed bottom offers an innovative and flexible solution for urban greening, even on paved surfaces such as plazas and sidewalks. This model from the Esfera collection is designed with a flat back, allowing it to fit seamlessly alongside other elements in the same series. With a generous capacity of 1240 liters, this robust planter accommodates medium-sized trees and larger shrubs without relying on the natural soil.
Unlike the open-bottom variant, this version features a closed base with integrated drainage holes. This ensures controlled water runoff and prevents excessive moisture buildup. As a result, the Esfera P is ideally suited for plazas, pedestrian zones, and other urban spaces where natural soil infiltration is not possible.
Like the other models in the collection, the Esfera P is made of high-quality cast concrete reinforced with stainless steel. Its etched and waterproof finish provides long-lasting protection against the elements, while multiple color options – such as grey, white, and beige – ensure seamless integration into any urban design.
The flat-back design allows multiple Esfera P units to be positioned closely together, making it ideal for creating green borders or structured arrangements. Combine this model with the Esfera S and Esfera G to create dynamic and adaptable green zones that meet the spatial needs of the city.
Cast concrete with natural stone aggregates - finish : acid-etched and waterproofed
The Esfera P with a closed bottom is specifically designed for urban environments with paved surfaces. The model is placed directly without anchoring and remains stable and secure due to its substantial weight (up to 1692 kg).
Transporting and placing the Esfera P requires the use of polyester slings and four lifting points for precise positioning. Its solid construction ensures a safe installation, even in high-traffic public spaces.
The closed bottom prevents uncontrolled water infiltration into the ground, while integrated drainage holes allow for efficient water runoff. This ensures that the substrate inside the planter remains healthy and suitable for optimal plant growth.
