The Atlantida® drinking fountain, designed by Enric Batlle and Joan Roig, combines sleek minimalist design with practical functionality to provide drinkable water in public spaces. This fountain integrates seamlessly into parks, urban squares, and recreational areas. In addition to the standard model, a WRAS-certified version is also available, with internal components that meet the strictest standards for drinking water safety.
The body of the fountain is made of GG-22 cast iron and finished with a black paint coating. The rough texture of the surface highlights its industrial character and provides enhanced durability. The drain grate is securely embedded in a galvanized steel frame, designed for a seamless integration into surrounding paving. The water drainage can be achieved by connecting to a rainwater system or an underground infiltration system (not included).
The spout, made of brass and equipped with an integrated grit filter, ensures smooth water flow and prevents blockages. Maintenance panels at the front and rear make it easy to access the internal components for adjustments or cleaning.
The Atlantida can be installed either on top of paving, with the body extending 120 cm above ground level, or recessed into a foundation below ground level, with 10 cm of the body embedded. This versatile design offers flexibility in placement and use, tailored to different environments and climate conditions.
