The Montseny Chair, designed by Leopoldo Milá in 1990, is a refined and compact chair that combines functionality and style. Ideal for public and semi-public spaces, this chair provides a comfortable seat for one person while effortlessly fitting into diverse urban or recreational settings.
The chair is crafted from FSC®-certified tropical wood and features a frame made of black lacquered aluminum. These durable materials make the chair resistant to heavy use and diverse weather conditions. The aluminum supports are coated with a corrosion-resistant finish meeting the C5 standard, significantly extending the chair's lifespan, even in demanding outdoor environments.
The ergonomic design of the Montseny Chair combines ideal seat height, backrest, and armrests to provide maximum comfort. With a timeless aesthetic, this chair adds a touch of elegance to squares, parks, or other public spaces. Its compact size makes it suitable for smaller areas or as a complement to the Montseny Bench.
The Montseny Chair is designed with practical installation in mind. It is securely anchored using recessed screws and resin, ensuring stable and safe placement. This makes it ideal for both permanent and semi-permanent installations.
Anchoring bolts DIN913 M10 x 100
To correctly install the Montseny Chair, it is recommended to drill four 12 mm diameter holes into the pavement. Fill these holes with suitable resin, then securely fasten the supplied DIN 913 M-10 x 100 bolts into the resin. Once the chair is positioned, carefully seal the feet all around for a stable and neat finish. Ensure the chair is level and firmly anchored to withstand daily use and changing weather conditions.
