The Islero bench, designed by Eduardo Arroyo, is a striking monolithic element that can be modularly arranged in various public spaces. Its flexible design allows the Islero to be placed as a standalone piece or in group configurations, seamlessly integrating into both urban and natural settings. This unique furniture piece adds functional surface area without dominating the space, while offering a new dimension to the landscape.
The Islero is made from reinforced natural stone concrete, finished with a waterproof coating that significantly enhances durability and ease of maintenance. It comes standard in an acid-etched granite gray color, harmonizing with its surroundings and available in both light and dark shades of concrete. The design reflects and plays with both natural and artificial light, creating a dynamic visual experience that shifts based on the viewer’s perspective.
With its ergonomic design, the Islero bench offers various comfortable seating possibilities, allowing users to relax and enjoy their environment. Weighing 2500 kg, the bench can be placed freestanding without anchoring, provided the ground is stable enough to maintain its level position. This bench offers a calm, floating presence, ideal for recreational and social purposes.
Cast concrete with natural stone aggregates - finish : acid-etched and waterproofed
The installation of the Islero bench requires no anchoring. During placement, the bench is lifted with suitable hoisting equipment to the desired location and then positioned freestanding on a stable surface. For optimal stability and user experience, the ground should be firm and level, ensuring the Islero maintains its position without additional fastening. Careful placement enhances its floating and inviting character within the landscape.
